Our work is subject to strict ethical principles. Therefore, we are committed to protecting the data of all visitors to our website and all users of our (mobile) applications. The way in which we collect and store data depends on the use of our websites and the services associated with them.

2. Data collection and processing for access from the internet
When you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily store each access in a log file. The following data is recorded and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • The visitor’s IP address (anonymized)
  • date and time of the visit
  • Reference URL (the site from which a visitor has accessed our site)
  • the pages visited on our website
  • information about the used browser (browser type and version, operating system, etc.)

This data is processed for the purpose of enabling use of the website (connection establishment), system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and optimization of the internet offering.

This is also our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.

3. Cookies
We use cookies on our websites, which store data for technical session control in the memory of your browser. This data is deleted when you close your browser. Of course, you can also view our websites without cookies. However, most browsers automatically accept cookies. You can prevent cookies from being saved by changing your browser settings.

Cookies enable us to make our site more user-friendly and safer, which is in our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f DSGVO.

4. Web analysis with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. This is also our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. 5. Data provided by yourself
In addition to the automatically collected data, we also process data that you have made available to us. If you use the application system or a contact form on our website, you provide us with your data including your last name and your e-mail address. We use this data exclusively for the delivery of the requested information or for contacting you.

The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a). In the applicant system, the processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) DSGVO and §26 para. 1 BDSG-neu.

6. Newsletter
If you have given your permission, you will regularly receive newsletters from us informing you about product and service news. After subscribing to the newsletter you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your newsletter subscription. This ensures that no third party has misused your data (double opt-in principle). The newsletter can be cancelled at any time by clicking on the corresponding link at the end of the e-mail. You can also revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by e-mail to

MTS.web CS, a customer contact management system of EXXETA GmbH (EXXETA GmbH, Föpplstraße 3, 04347 Leipzig, Germany; a subsidiary of EXXETA AG). The data is stored in such a way that other customers or third parties have no access to it. 

The legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) in conjunction with Art. 7 DSGVO in conjunction with § 7 para. 2 no. 3 UWG.

7. Disclosure of information
One of our most important principles is that we treat your data carefully and confidentially. We will not sell your data to third parties. We will only disclose your data to third parties if this is required by law. If permitted under applicable laws, we may share your information with other companies in the EXXETA Group.

We use service providers, some of whom also process data on our behalf. For example, we use third-party companies for web hosting, application management and maintenance services. To the extent necessary for the provision of the agreed services, we grant these service providers access to personal data. The service providers are contractually obliged to treat all data strictly confidential. They are also contractually prohibited from processing the data for purposes other than those agreed. We do everything necessary to ensure that our service providers also respect the confidentiality of your data.

8. Your rights
You as a user have the right to request information about which personal data will be processed. You have the right to request the correction, completion or deletion of the data. You also have the right of objection and the right to data transferability. You can revoke your consent at any time. If you believe that your data is being unlawfully disclosed, you can file a complaint with the regulatory authority at any time.

9. Storage time
Unless specifically stated, we only store personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes pursued.

In some cases, the legislator provides for the storage of personal data, for example in tax or commercial law. In these cases, the data will only be stored by us for these legal purposes, but will not be processed in any other way and deleted after expiry of the legal retention period.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
EXXETA is committed to upholding the basic principles of data protection. We therefore regularly revise our privacy policy to keep it up to date and in line with data protection requirements. This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time to adapt it to new developments and opportunities relating to the internet and to take into account applicable legislation. Significant changes to the Privacy Policy will be posted on our website along with an updated version of our Privacy Policy.
